Location: Rome Global Gateway

April 27, 2017

The event is an international graduate conference promoted by the Rome Art History Network, an independent network of art historians, created by Ariane Varela Braga and based in Rome, promoting exchange of ideas and contact between scholars and fellows of the foreign academies and italian universities. The graduate conferences are organized every year, in collaboration with a foreign and italian institution. We aim at collaborating each year with different institutions. Past collaborations have included: the Swiss Institute in Rome, the Academia di San Luca, the KNIR, Universities of La Sapienza, Tor Vergata, Roma Tre, Accademia di Danimarca, Accademia di Ungheria, Bibliotheca Hertziana, among others.
Each graduate conference is organized by two PhD candidate, one from an Italian university and the other from a foreign institute in Rome, in order to encourage bilateral collaboration from the start.
