Living & Working in Italy: Perspectives from N.D. Alumni

We welcome current N.D. students and members of the N.D. Club of Italy to join us at the Rome Global Gateway on April 16th to discuss living and working in Italy.  The following ND Club of Italy Members will be discussing their personal experiences and answering questions from the students:

Sophia Bevacqua 

Class of 2017 
B.A. in Art History
Since 2018, Sophia has held a fellowship at the Vatican Museums in which she works in fundraising and art restoration. Sophia also works as a research assistant under Prof. Heather Hyde Minor, the Director of the Rome Global Gateway.

Dom Valore

Class of 2000
B.B.A. in Accountancy
Dom works in the Global Controllership group of Accenture and specializes in mergers and acquisitions in Europe.  He has lived in Rome the last 4 years and is the current President of the N.D. Club of Italy.

Melissa Slavin

Class of 2004 
Bachelor of Architecture
Melissa teaches middle school and high school art at the American Overseas School of Rome. A resident of Italy for the past 10 years, she has studied, worked, gotten married and raised a family in Rome.

Blair Pessemier

Class of 1976
Bachelor of Architecture
Blair is a former registered architect in the U.S. and is also a painter. He currently lives in Stimigliano, a small town outside of Rome.  

We encourage students and alumni to attend, ask questions and network at the event.  Additionally, the N.D. Club of Italy will sponsor some prizes that will be given away in a drawing at the end of the event.
