Dante and Visual Culture: Fresh Perspectives

This seminar will be dedicated to the discussion of a selection of recent volumes focusing on Dante’s illustration and visualization, aiming at providing an overview of the current state of research and reflecting on the most recent developments in the field. Given the significant number of publications on the subject over the last two years, the event provides an opportunity for both an update and a critical assessment of the latest trends and emerging research strands.

The aim is to foster a collective debate, encouraging an exchange of ideas on the evolving research trajectories and new perspectives in Dante’s illustration studies.
