Notre Dame International is pleased to announce the completion and signing of the Notre Dame Undergraduate Student International Travel Policy, which codifies and formalizes Notre Dame’s commitment to and best practices for student safety in the area of international travel.

The policy, which can be read in full here, exists to keep Notre Dame students as safe as possible abroad. Effective fall semester 2014, all students undertaking Notre Dame-sponsored international travel are required to enter their travel information into the Notre Dame International Travel Registry. This system assists NDI in guiding well-informed international travel decisions and offering assistance in the event of an emergency.

J. Nicholas Entrikin, Vice President and Associate Provost for Internationalization, signed the policy at the beginning of the 2014-2015 academic year. Notre Dame International wishes to thank everyone on campus who collaborated on this essential project, especially the NDI working group.
