Alberto Lo Pinto, Ph.D., University of Notre Dame, is an independent scholar based in Rome and a former Fellow at the Bibliotheca Hertziana Max Planck Institute. He is interested in the various interactions between cinema and architecture, such as the architecture of film sets, the architecture of movie theatres and films directed by architects. His current research is on film exhibition in Rome in the 1970s and 1980s.
