Academic Activities and Research Interest
Professor Coppotelli is an associate professor at Università degli Studi di Roma La Sapienza, in the department of mechanical and aerospace engineering. His main research activities include dynamic characterization of aerospace structures with emphasis on system identification, structural damage identification, model updating, aeroelasticity of fixed and rotating wings, and vibration reduction using shunted piezo-devices. Coppotelli is a co-author of several publications on international journals and conference proceedings.
