Francesca de Caprariis studied Ancient Topography at the University of Rome La Sapienza (BSc) and Bologna (PhD).
Ancient Rome, its monuments and its urban history has always been her focus of interest and work. These interests have found an ideal outlet in the current work with the severan marble plan exhibited in the new Museo della Forma Urbis.
