The Rome Global Gateway's prime location and convenient meeting spaces make it an ideal place to host academic conferences, lectures and seminars, and we welcome groups from Notre Dame, other organizations, and the local community for such events.
Services at the Rome Global Gateway include teleconferencing and webcasting, wireless access, wheelchair access, audio visual services, dedicated events coordinator, exhibition space.
Those interested are required to submit a proposal on the link below at least 90 days in advance.
We encourage Arts and Letters faculty and staff to contact the Academic Conferences team on the Notre Dame campus for larger events.
Please note, due to a busy academic program, we cannot guarantee that there will be space available at your preferred date/time. Any requests for hires for public events will be considered but must be approved by the faculty advisory committee as fitting with Notre Dame’s objectives.
- Audio/visual rental cost will be determined as-needed, though the Rome Global Gateway is fully equipped to campus standards and in most cases additional AV equipment is not necessary.
- Opening and closing receptions can be held at the Rome Global Gateway, as well as coffee breaks and working lunches. Optional refreshments are available for an additional cost, including items such as coffee and biscotti, panini or light lunch buffet, hors d'oeuvres, charcuterie and cheese plates, wine, prosecco and miniature desserts.
