Synodality and Christian Unity: A Lutheran Perspective

On Friday 25 June 2021, Reverend Dr Martin Junge, GeneralSecretary of the Lutheran World Federation, will deliver the fifth lecture in the cycle of public lectures of the 2021 Tillard Chair dedicated to the theme of synodality.T

he lecture entitled “Synodality and Christian Unity: A LutheranPerspective” will take place in the Minor Hall of the Angelicum from 5.30–7.00 pm, and will also be transmitted in direct streaming accessible here.Thecycle of lectures of the 2021 Tillard Chair on the theme“Walking Together. Synodality and Christian Unity”is jointly organized by the Pontifical Council for Promoting Christian Unity and theInstitute of Ecumenical Studies of the Angelicum.

The "Tillard Chair" dedicated to ecumenism was inauguratedin2003 by Cardinal Walter Kasper at the Angelicum in honor of the renowned theologian and ecumenist, Jean-Marie Tillard,OP(1927-2000).
